Michael Ross Joins JR Machine as Regional Vice President of Sales

Shawano, Wis. (December 03, 2020) — JR Machine, a leading contract manufacturer of complex machined parts, announced Michael Ross has joined the company as regional vice president of sales.

“Mike brings a wealth of industry and sales experience to assist customers with their contract manufacturing needs,” said Tim Tumanic, president and CEO of JR Machine. “His experience as a leader in engineering and manufacturing design makes him the perfect fit to help streamline the process of procuring and producing complex parts for our customers.”

Ross has extensive knowledge in engineering and manufacturing developed over 25 years of working in aerospace, defense, heavy equipment, space, oil and gas, and power. He most recently served as business development and sales manager at Waygate Technologies, a Baker Hughes business. Ross started his career as an R&D engineer, designing and manufacturing automotive steering systems after earning a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Washington.

Ross is located in San Diego, California. He will be responsible for bringing JR Machine’s expertise in precision manufacturing to manufacturers along the west coast and throughout the United States.
